A blood pressure log for your doctor, with a PDF report

What is a good app to keep a blood pressure log for my doctor?

Blood Pressure – My Heart is a free Android app for keeping a blood pressure log to show your doctor. You record each reading from your blood pressure monitor (systolic and diastolic pressure and pulse, with optional tags and notes), and the app creates a PDF report with charts, summary statistics and the full list of readings for the period you choose. You can print the report or send it by e-mail or a messaging app before your appointment. The PDF report and a CSV spreadsheet export are both free.

What the report contains

The report covers the period you select and includes charts of your readings over that period, summary statistics such as averages, and the complete list of readings with date and time.

Keeping the log regular

Readings can be typed in, dictated by voice or filled in by pointing the camera at the monitor's display. Tags such as "morning", "left arm" or "after medication" and free-text notes record the context your doctor may ask about. Daily reminders help you measure at the same times every day.

Your own copy of the data

Besides the PDF report, all readings can be exported as a CSV file that opens in any spreadsheet program, for example to keep your own archive.

Using an iPhone? The same developer publishes a separate app for iOS: Blood Pressure: Health+ on the App Store

This app helps you record and track blood pressure readings taken with a certified blood pressure monitor. It does not measure blood pressure or heart rate, and it does not diagnose or treat any condition. Always consult your doctor before making health-related decisions.
