This Privacy Policy outlines the practices regarding the collection, use, and protection of user health data by our "My Heart - Blood Pressure" application. Your privacy and data security are our top priorities. By using the "My Heart - Blood Pressure" application, you explicitly agree to the terms outlined in this document.
Nature of user health data access: The "My Heart - Blood Pressure" application is designed to access certain user health data, specifically blood pressure and heart rate data, in collaboration with Google Health Connect, upon user consent.
Method of user health data collection: User health data is obtained when the user explicitly permits access to their blood pressure and heart rate data in Google Health Connect.
How to delete user data: User data is stored internally in the application's database. It can be deleted by uninstalling the application or by going to More → Settings → Delete data. If the user has consented to export data to Google Health, it can be managed within the Google Health application.
Use of health data: The obtained health data is used solely for the purpose of making it available to users within the "My Heart - Blood Pressure" application. There are no other uses or functions for which this data is utilized.
Disclosure of user health data: We confirm that we do not disclose, share, or distribute your health data to any third parties. Your health data remains within the secure confines of the "My Heart - Blood Pressure" application and is not subject to transmission beyond these boundaries.
Data storage and security: User health data is securely stored within the internal database of the "My Heart - Blood Pressure" application, though without encryption. Information exported to external storage is formatted in commonly used standards such as CSV, XML, or PDF. Export of such data can only be initiated by the user upon request.
Google Analytics usage: The "My Heart - Blood Pressure" application uses Google Analytics to collect anonymous data regarding user engagement and interaction with the application, including screen navigation and online status.
Firebase Crashlytics usage: The application may collect diagnostic and performance data, such as crash logs and other information related to application performance.
Google Drive integration: Users have the option to archive their data to Google Drive, where access is exclusively restricted to the individual user within the specified application environment. Storage and retrieval of data on Google Drive is exclusively a local process, limited to the "Blood Pressure" application database.
Google Health Connect data access: Users may grant access to their blood pressure and heart rate data. This data remains outside the scope of "My Heart - Blood Pressure" application storage and transmission and is merely displayed within the application.
Health Connect permissions policy compliance: It should be emphasized that the use of data sourced from Health Connect strictly adheres to the Health Connect permissions policy, including usage restrictions.
User control: Users retain full control over their health data, including the ability to add, delete, or modify data within the "My Heart - Blood Pressure" application and directly within the Health Connect application.
